Since the launch of Warzone 2, players haven’t just had to deal with enemies on the battlefield, but bugs as well. Although minor patches and stability fixes have rolled out in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, there’s still a lot of work to be done. Usually, any updates are shared by the official Call of Duty social media channels. However, the latest fixes have flown under the radar, so many players may not know about them. Below, you can find the new Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 patch notes ahead of the launch of Season 02, featuring exploit fixes and the Restock Public Event.
The Call of Duty development teams have Trello Boards that indicate known issues across Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2, and DMZ. Four new cards have been added to the ‘resolved issues’ tab as more bugs are being stamped out of the game.
Starting with Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, an exploit that allowed players to use the Deployable Cover to access out of bounds areas has been fixed. In DMZ, a frustrating problem has been resolved that saw player loadouts and equipment not load into a match, but appear on your operator after the game.
Moving on from MW2 to Warzone 2, Raven Software has re-introduced the Restock Public Event. It was taken out of the rotation back in January due to loot dropped by players vanishing into thin air. This game mode refills every looted crate, meaning there is always plenty of loot to go around. This is especially useful when you’re released from the gulag and you have limited resources to your name. Also, Supply Crates have been patched after an issue saw more than one player be able to loot them at once in regular battle royale.
