MultiVersus Lobbies See Rick Sanchez Appearing Early
Multiple MultiVersus players have reported seeing Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty appear in lobbies before being actually added into the game. The massive Warner Bros. crossover fighting game includes characters from various different properties like Game of Thrones, Steven Universe and DC Comics. Developer Player First Games recently revealed that Rick and Morty are coming to MultiVersusin the future, but the animated mad scientist has apparently shown up early.
MultiVersus recently soft launched on July 26, with the platform fighting game featuring 17 playable characters right off the bat. Most of this roster must be unlocked using paid Character Tokens, though the game does include a small rotating pool of four free fighters. These pop culture combatants include Batman, Harley Quinn, Steven Universe, Bugs Bunny, The Iron Giant, Arya Stark and more. MultiVersus is set to be a live-service game, too, with new characters and stages set to be released long into the future. Player First Games recently confirmed LeBron James, Rick and Morty for MultiVersus, with the NBA star already available and the cartoon duo expected in the near future.
