In the show’s first episode, Kamala mentions on her vlog how Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) saved the day during the Battle of Earth. She even hints at her next episode, a two-part series on why she thinks Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is secretly a gamer; this Ms. Marvel reference, although passing, continues Endgame’s weirdest problem.
Since the beginning of MCU Phase 4, it has been shown that even ordinary civilians have extensive knowledge of the events of Avengers: Endgame. People learned of superhero deaths and memorialized the sacrifices of Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), although there is a noticeable snub of Vision’s sacrifice in Avengers: Infinity War. Details surrounding the final battle and Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) motives were also highly debated, with some believing that the Mad Titan was right. This reality initially created a loophole, as it would have been impossible for the public to gain accurate information about the Avengers’ showdown with Thanos.
