Warning: SPOILERS for Moon Knight episode 3
Marvel Studios might already be teasing Thor: Love and Thunder's villain through the missing gods in Moon Knight's Ennead. The Disney+ show is largely disconnected from the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe canon, as Moon Knight instead focuses primarily on its own story. However, Marvel could be subtly planting seeds for upcoming projects and characters at the same time. This isn't just in regards to how Moon Knight will continue appearing after the series concludes either. Moon Knight might be responsible for setting up Thor: Love and Thunder's villain, Gorr the God Butcher.
The addition of Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale, in Thor: Love and Thunder immediately ignited speculation about how Marvel will show him gaining that terrifying moniker. When it was later revealed that the Olympian god Zeus (Russell Crowe) is set to appear, he became a clear candidate to become one of Gorr's victims. There have since been reports that link Thor: Love and Thunder to other deities, including Black Panther's goddess Bast. All of this puts the fates of Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Jane Foster a.k.a. Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman) in question, as audiences expect Gorr to slay several prominent gods in the MCU.

Gorr's impending live-action debut links up well with Moon Knight and the show's exploration of Egyptian gods.
