Lucky Thackeray, who plays Donna in Marvel's Moon Knight, has explained her role in the shocking twist ending of the series' fourth episode. The Disney+ series premiered on March 30, with new episodes airing every Wednesday. Starring Oscar Isaac as a man with dissociative identity disorder, it revolves around his quest to solve the mystery of the Egyptian god Ammit, all while trying to stop the villainous cult leader Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) from releasing her.
At the end of Moon Knight episode 4, titled «The Tomb,» Isaac's character Steven Grant is shot twice in the chest by Harrow and he is seen falling into an abyss. The next thing Steven sees is when he wakes up in what looks like a psychiatric hospital, with a few characters from previous episodes surrounding him as either fellow patients or nurses. Donna, who was previously seen as Steven Grant's boss at the National Art Gallery in London, is now seen here as a patient. From there, the story gets even crazier.
