After a lot of confusing messaging from Konami, Metal Gear fans discovered that the HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 included in the Master Collection would render at 720p on PC, making for a poor-quality image on higher resolution displays. Installing the mod requires another tool from GitHub called Ultimate ASI Loader, but otherwise is a simple process you can check out on the mod page. Once installed, players can input their desired resolution using a text editor.
The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection has been generally well-reviewed by critics including GameSpot, with reviewer Richard Wakeling scoring
