According to an update on Xbox's official website, MLB The Show 21 and Destiny 2 will both leave Xbox Game Pass in the near future. Each of the two titles hit the service some time ago, with MLB The Show 21 joining Game Pass in April 2021. Destiny 2, on the other hand, originally released on the streaming platform in July 2020 for Xbox consoles, then arrived on PC in October 2021. The popular live-service experience left Game Pass' console version in December 2021 as many may recall.
Microsoft rolled out its Xbox Game Pass subscription in June 2017, at the time providing access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible 360 titles for just $9.99 per month. Blockbuster experiences like Payday 2, Halo 5: Guardians, and all three BioShock entries were included, enticing prospective members to buy into what many were deeming the Netflix of gaming. Of course, the offerings have only improved in the nearly five years since then, especially when considering the bonus deals for Game Pass Ultimate — the Ultimate version of the platform presently allows users to access a free month of Paramount+, for instance.

As spotted by Twisted Voxel, an update on the official Xbox website reveals a list of titles that will leave Xbox Game Pass in April for consoles and PC. The console library, in particular, will lose MLB The Show 2021, Rain on Your Parade, and The Long Dark "in the next two weeks." During the same exact time frame, Game Pass subscribers on PC can expect Destiny 2, Pathway, Rain on Your Parade, and The Long Dark to exit. Xbox has yet to share specific departure dates for this handful of games. Screenshots of the website's 'Leaving Soon' pages appear
