Witch Beam's zen puzzler Unpacking completed an impressive double swoop at last night's BAFTA Games Awards ceremony, taking home the BAFTA for Narrative and EE Game of the Year, the latter of which is the only award voted for by the public.
Returnal nabbed four BAFTAs for Audio Achievement, Best Game, Music, and Performer in a Leading Role for Jane Perry, who plays protagonist Selene Vassos.
It Takes Two won the awards for Multiplayer and Original Property, while Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was honored in the Animation and Technical Achievement categories.
Other notable winners include charming photography title, TOEM, which triumphed in the Debut category and The Artful Escape, which took home the Artistic Achievement award.
Forza Horizon 5 won the BAFTA for British Game, Hello Games' ever-changing sci-fi adventure No Man's Sky came out on top in the Evolving Game category, and Inscryption received the prize for Game Design.
