Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 Runtime Sets Franchise Record
The official runtime has been revealed for Paramount Pictures’ forthcoming seventh installment to the blockbuster franchise.
According to IGN, the Tom Cruise-led movie holds a total running time of 2 hours and 36 minutes, making it the longest one out of all the previous Mission: Impossible movies to date.
It will be nine minutes longer than 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is divided into two parts, with the first one arriving on July 12, 2023, and the second movie premiering on June 28, 2024.
Both films are directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Joining Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is returning franchise alums Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Sleep), Simon Pegg (Ready Player One), Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Vanessa Kirby (Hobbs & Shaw), and Henry Czerny (Ready or Not).
