Team 17 has unveiled its latest title, and it's one boasting a pretty crazy mix of stuff. Headbangers Rhythm Royale is its full name, and we're immediately on board after watching this new trailer.
The elevator pitch is that it takes the madcap rhythm-based mini-games of Rhythm Paradise and then throws in dozens of players competing to be the last one standing, much like Fall Guys. It's a neat concept, and the range of stages looks pretty diverse from what's been shown so far.
The game will feature 23 mini-games at launch, which will support up to 30 players as you compete to be the most musically attuned pigeon. With crossplay support included and, of course, a host of wild cosmetic items to adorn your bird, this seems to be shaping up nicely, and should make for some chaotic multiplayer when it hits PS5 and PS4 on 31st October, 2023.

This looks cool!
This looks dumb imo.
