The user on Reddit known as Miksu23 recently revealed how they used Minecraft to recreate every single one of the cities in Oblivion. The result is a pretty spectacular accomplishment in terms of level design. “They're all finally complete with some extra structures such as Cloud Ruler Temple,” Miksu23 noted.
The news about this impressive feat has been making the rounds on Reddit. The announcement which was posted only five days ago currently has over 2,000 upvotes and several dozen comments. “I squealed when I saw Cheydinhal,” the user going by the name of DarkAligator61 remarked. “I'm expecting Pelinal Whitestrake to walk up at any moment,” another user named MagmaticPenguin added.

Miksu23 is offering players the ability to download and install their work in the form of a complete build of the game world. “Oh, this is awesome,” the user known as PSPDude remarked. “I see too many awesome builds on Minecraft that end up not offering a world download to properly appreciate the builds and it starts to get grating after a while. Renders only go so far. With large scale builds, sometimes you just get a better feel for it walking around.”
This comes in the wake of several other large scale projects aimed at modernizing Oblivion, the most well known of which would have to be Skyblivion. This mod is all about using the game engine for Skyrim to recreate Oblivion.
