For others, the biggest draw of FromSoftware’s latest game is the lore, as a collaboration with George R.R. Martin has led to an even deeper backstory than what is normally seen in the developer’s games. However, there is another corner of the community that dedicates itself to making and sharing custom characters.
While there are plenty ofElden Ring fans who create themselves when designing their Tarnished, or try to make their player character as ugly as possible for a laugh, others have focused on crafting some genuinely cool creations. These include playable versions of NPCs from the Roundtable Hold, celebrities like Michael Jackson, memes like the Gigachad, and figures from pop culture like Doctor Strange and Obi-Wan Kenobi. While players could not have made these characters without a decent character creator, most would agree that the current system could still be improved upon.
