One of the major selling points of Minecraft that has helped keep it in the gaming limelight for all these years is the sheer talent that exists within the community. As one of the most successful video games in recent history, it owes a lot to the fan base who are only too keen to show off their incredible skills and the determination in creating some amazing builds. The talent pool is nowhere near dry yet, and this one fan shows that they can take something traditionally not considered exciting, and make it look pretty spectacular.
YouTuber CommanderRedstone, a self-professed math addict, has uploaded a video recently which shows an updated version of their Minecraft graphing calculator. Developed in the vanilla version of the game, so with no mods, the video shows them entering a number of functions and calculations, and then executing them. In doing so, some beautiful art is created as the in-game calculator draws the graphs based on the co-ordinates entered, and it creates a rather hypnotic flow of blocks moving in a visually pleasing and smooth pattern.

Graphing calculators in Minecraft have existed before, and CommanderRedstone even says that this is an improved version of one they had already built, but this iteration is a sight to behold. In many ways, it makes math look a lot more interesting, especially to those who would ordinarily find it quite dull. This version, according to the user, is faster and more accurate, and uses «floats» to achieve the output.
