A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fan has undertaken an enormous quest to reconstruct Hyrule in Minecraft, beginning with the Great Plateau. As Breath of the Wild's tutorial area, the Great Plateau is, thematically speaking, probably the best starting point for such an incredible project.
Minecraft has shown itself to be an endless source of creative power over the years. Despite, or perhaps because of, its simplicity, the game and its many players have given rise to a number of amazing builds over the years. These can range in scale from tiny cottages to enormous statues. But most impressive of all amongst these projects are the megabuilds; giant virtual creations that include enormous redstone computers, titanic buildings, and even entire sprawling cities. Many of the latter two categories are reconstructions of popular locations in both real life and video games. Just recently, for example, a scale model of New York City in Minecraft was created by over 2000 people working together.

Now a new megabuild is beginning to take shape for the world to see. Sharing images of his work so far on Reddit, user lg_cuber, also known as Grazzy, has recreated the familiar landscape of the Great Plateau from Breath of the Wild. The Temple of Time, the local Sheikah Tower, and even the various shrines scattered across the plateau are all clearly visible. Furthermore, lg_cuber has made it clear that this is only the beginning; in time, he intends to recreate the entirety of Hyrule.
