Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey were both announced as The Bachelorette, and their season will be much different than Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson's season. During the After The Final Rose special, Jesse Palmer, the new host, revealed that both Rachel and Gabby will be the next female leads. The ladies will date several single men side-by-side as they try to find their future husbands. Hopefully, their experiences as The Bachelorette will be an improvement from The Bachelor.
The ladies first met while competing for Clayton Echard on The Bachelor season 26. They both made it to the final three but were sent home simultaneously after Clayton revealed he was still in love with Susie Evans. Clayton had time to speak with both Rachel and Gabby separately after revealing he was only in love with Susie and the women gave him a piece of their mind. Despite not being Clayton's final pick, it seems both Rachel and Gabby found a better offer.

Rachel and Gabby's dual Bachelorette season will not be similar to Kaitlyn and Britt's season from 2015. The main difference is that the men will not have to choose between Rachel and Gabby on night one. Both women will be on the show for the whole season. During Kaitlyn and Britt's season, the men met both ladies and had to vote who they wanted as The Bachelorette. By the end of the night, the votes were counted, Kaitlyn continued the season as lead, and Britt went home. Back then, Bachelor Nation thought this was cruel of the network to make Britt feel like she was potentially about to find the love of her life, just to have the opportunity ripped from her.
