Trevante Rhodes shines in the trailer for Hulu's Mike Tyson limited series Mike. The show will chronicle the life of the infamous boxer from childhood through his height as one of the greatest professional athletes of the 20th century. Moonlight and The Predator star Rhodes will portray the titular athlete through his adult years and will be joined by Greg Kaston as the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Russell Hornsby as boxing promoter Don King, Laura Harrier as actor Robin Givens, and Harvey Keitel as legendary boxing manager and Tyson's adoptive father Cus D'Amato.
Hulu recently released the trailer for the upcoming limited series sports drama in which Rhodes shines as the Heavyweight Champion. The trailer showcases significant points in Tyson's personal and professional journey, such as his rough childhood and his turn to a life of petty crime, his rise to prominence in the ring, his high-profile marriage to Givens, as well as his three-year prison stint for rape. Although the series appears to faithfully tell the story of Tyson's life, the boxer has not endorsed the Hulu show, previously calling it tone-deaf and greedy. Tyson has instead authorized a biopic starring Jamie Foxx as the lead with Martin Scorsese slated to direct. Mike debuts on Hulu on August 25.
