The self-inflicted video game leaks are showing no signs of slowing down as Microsoft has now leaked a handful of Minecraft reveals from the September 28 Minecraft Live showcase.
Reddit user ozzAR0th spotted an update to the Minecraft Live website that included a 'Watch the Highlights' section as if the showcase had already wrapped. “Get the latest and greatest news from this year’s show,” it said.
These highlights will include “a first look at the pale garden and its hostile mob, the creaking,” though no further details were shared on what this possible biome and baddie will be. The showcase will also reveal “insight into bundles and Hardcore mode.”
Finally, fans can expect more information on the somewhat infamous A Minecraft Movie (the first trailer of which was widely panned by fans) and an “upcoming immersive experience” called Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue.
The full showcase will reveal all this information proper and not just the headlines, so fans will have to wait patiently until September 28 at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 6pm UK for the full rundown.
Video game companies seem to have had a particularly tough time of it lately in regards to leaks. These Minecraft reveals from Microsoft come a day after Sony’s latest PlayStation State of Play event, and the company leaked several games including Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered ahead of time.
Photos of the Nintendo Switch 2 allegedly leaked earlier in September too (which experts say are “almost certainly real), the PlayStation 5 Pro leaked several times ahead of its September 10 reveal, and the new Warzone map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leaked back in August, to name a few more.
