This convenient collection of Metal Gear Solid's greatest hits gets its first big discount ahead of Black Friday.

The Metal Gear Solid series is one of the most important franchises in video game history, proof positive that the medium could take on Hollywood. While most of these games have been available on multiple platforms long after release, the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is a great entry point into the franchise, and it just got an early Black Friday 2023 discount at Amazon and Walmart.
Both retailers have the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions for solid prices just weeks after launch. The Nintendo Switch version is available for only $45, and the PS5 edition is up for grabs for $52. You can also snag a Steam key for $46.79 at Green Man Gaming.
