Mega Man X DiVE Offline has been confirmed by Capcom, and it will be released for PC via Steam, iOS, and Android. As the name suggests, this is the offline version of Mega Man X DiVE, which will allow players to access the game without needing an internet connection. However, it has been stated that user data in Mega Man X DiVE cannot be transferred to Mega Man X DiVE Offline currently.
Along with not being able to transfer user data, Capcom has also commented on other features found in the online version of Mega Man X DiVE, writing, “This product is the offline version of Mega Man X DiVE. Online features such as Battle Mode, Co-op, Ranking, Guild, and Capsule are not included. Collaboration contents such as characters and stages from other Capcom franchises are not available in the game.”
The story of Mega Man X DiVE Offline is that game data for Mega Man X stored in the Cyberworld region of Deep Log has been corrupted due to a bug, and that is causing all sorts of havoc with enemies attacking. Players will be able to choose from a roster of 100 characters and customise them with various looks, equipment, and weapons to face the threat. Mega Man X DiVE Offline is set to be released at some point in 2023.
