Each of these powers temporarily incapacitates enemies in slightly different ways, but they're essentially the same ability. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 can take the suit powers a step further and give players more varied abilities.
Instead of focusing solely on combat, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 can give players powers that enhance other areas of the game with varied web-swinging, crawling, or even the ability to glide around the city. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 should still have combat-based suit powers, but they should be more diverse. Different versions of Spider-Man have a lot of abilities throughout the comics that the new game can explore with different suit powers.

There are some suits in Marvel's Spider-Man that don't have any powers, so unlocking them is less rewarding. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 could give each suit a power, even if it's something comical like the ability to insult enemies that players obtained after unlocking the Vintage Comic Book Suit in Marvel's Spider-Man. However, the novelty suit powers should be secondary to a new group of diverse suits and abilities in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
