Warning! Contains a preview for Amazing Spider-Man #89
In a newly released preview for Marvel Comics' Amazing Spider-Man, the newest Goblin intends to rule using dark new powers against her victims. Having been secretly created by the Beyond Corporation, the new Queen Goblin was meant to be used to protect the company's bottom line. However, the new foe has already proven herself to be incredibly powerful and barely controllable, looking to do the controlling instead.
In previous issues of Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker has been out for the count and recovering in the hospital, entrusting his clone Ben Reilly to take his place. Ben had already been hired by the Beyond Corporation to be its corporate-backed Spider-Man. However, the mega-conglomerate has dark ulterior motives for getting into the superhero game, as it's clearly not to help the world or save mankind. In that same vein, Beyond has also gotten into the supervillain business, looking to orchestrate both sides of battles it fabricates, using them as smokescreens so they can destroy anyone or anything a client wishes where a super-fight can be blamed in the aftermath.

That being said, it looks as though Beyond's first foray into supervillains has worked to0 well in the preview for Amazing Spider-Man #89 from Patrick Gleason and Mark Bagley. Injecting Dr. Ashley Kafka with the metaphysical sins of Norman Osborn creates the Queen Goblin, who is quite literally born from the evil of the original Green Goblin.
