The lack of DLC was disappointing for the community, with many feeling that the game's critical reception warranted more content. The delisting announcement came from the official Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Twitter account, stating that the cloud version of the game will be removed from the Nintendo eShop on February 27 at 10.59pm EST. The reason for the delisting is simple — from April 1, the cloud version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will be published by Eidos Interactive Corporation, and the delisting is necessary in order to complete a proper publishing transition. However, the game is expected to be available again from April 1, once the transition is complete. The announcement also comes with a recommendation for Nintendo Switch players before the delisting. If a player owns the game but does not have it downloaded, it's recommended to download the game in case players would like to play it during the delisting period.
