A new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe leaked image has provided even more insight into upcoming DLC courses. The long-running eighth installment in the series began receiving new courses this week, with two new cups being added to the game featuring classic courses from earlier games in the series. Earlier this week, a datamine revealed courses likely to appear in the Mario Kart Booster Pack's second wave, with the new promotional image hinting at even more upcoming additions.
The Mario Kart series first began in 1992 with the release of Mario Kart for the SNES. Since then, the series has swelled in popularity to become one of the most popular racing games in the world. Mario Kart 8 was first released for the Wii U in 2014, with the deluxe Switch version of the game following in 2017. With several years passing without a new entry, many fans have been hungry for a new game in the series. Although Mario Kart 9 has yet to be announced, Nintendo revealed at its February Direct presentation that 48 new courses would be released for the game via a DLC booster pack. The first wave was released on March 18th, with the addition of 8 new tracks from Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Tour, Mario Kart Wii, and more.

Twitter user MrNantendo revealed several new courses based off of a leaked promotional image, reports Tech4Gamers. Several new remastered courses not mentioned in the previous leak have been discovered: Sunset Wilds (Mario Kart: Super Circuit), Merry Mountain (Mario Kart Tour), Vancouver Velocity (Mario Kart Tour), Shy Guy Bazaar (Mario Kart 7), DK Summit (Mario Kart Wii), and Wario Stadium, although it is unclear if it will be the version from Mario Kart 64 or Mario
