Magic: The Gathering Arena has once again begun a new season. Say goodbye to the Streets of New Capenna, and hello to the streets of Baldur's Gate with the Baldur's Gate Mastery Pass.

To coincide with the launch of Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate, a set for the game's Historic and Alchemy formats, a new Mastery Pass full of rewards to unlock has been unveiled. Whether this is your first time completing a Mastery Pass, or are a long-time Arena veteran, here is everything you need to know about the Baldur's Gate Mastery Pass.
The Mastery Pass is Magic: The Gathering Arena's version of a battle pass. With each new set that launches, the game releases a new series of rewards that can be earned through levelling up.
Every Mastery Pass is split into two halves. The first is the Mastery Pass itself, which is a series of rewards spread across 70 levels. The Mastery Pass is further split into two tracks: the Free Rewards and the Unlocked Rewards.
Free rewards are given to every MTG Arena player. Simply log in and you'll already be at the start, and can start levelling up straight away. However, this track includes far fewer rewards, giving you a handful of Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate booster packs and Mastery Orbs.
To get every reward, you'll need to purchase the Unlocked Mastery Pass for 3,200 gems (approximately £17/€20). With this, you can unlock far more things, including different types of booster packs, cosmetics, gold, and gems to recoup what you spent.
