With the MultiVersus open beta launching soon, players have worked out how much money they’d need to spend to unlock everything currently available in the game. In early access currently, MultiVersus is a fighting game from Player First Games and Warner Bros. that features characters from popular television shows like Scooby Doo and Game of Thrones, as well as DC superheroes like Batman and Superman. Early feedback on the game has been overwhelmingly positive, with many players praising the character roster and customization. However, others have criticized that many of MultiVersus' coolest cosmetics are locked behind a paywall, and can only be purchased using the fighting game’s paid currency, Gleamium.
MultiVersus features multiple currencies, including coins that can be earned through gameplay. Currently, players can unlock all of the available playable characters in MultiVersus' open beta using coins, without the need to spend any real money on Gleamium. However, this could change in the future, as MultiVersus has yet to release its full character roster for launch, so some characters may be locked behind a paywall. Though some of the game’s cosmetics can be earned by leveling up characters or progressing through the game’s Battle Pass, many can only be purchased with Gleamium.
