Jersey Shore: Mike 'The Situation' & Wife Lauren Announce Baby No. 2
Mike and Lauren Sorrentino, of Jersey Shore fame, recently announced some exciting news: they're expecting baby number two. Since May 2021, the couple has been enjoying raising their rainbow baby, Romeo Reign Sorrentino. From his Italian chef photo shoot for his 1st birthday to his gardening enjoyment, fans have gushed over the cuteness that is Romeo. In just a few months, the «Situation» clan will be growing by one, which means Romeo will get to take on life's next milestone of becoming a big brother.
Romeo entered this world on the heels of some not-so-easy years. After overcoming drug addiction, Mike served a brief stint in prison for tax evasion. He and Lauren wanted nothing more than to start a family and finally achieved their goal shortly after his release. The moment when Lauren saw her positive pregnancy test was featured on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in a heartwarming, tear-inducing scene. Though Romeo had to stay in the NICU for two weeks because of a fever, he eventually went home happy and healthy. In April 2022, as Romeo approached his 1st birthday, Mike and Lauren were candid about how much they wanted a second child.

Four months later, their wish is becoming a reality. On Instagram, Mike revealed, "We have an amazing announcement!!! We're a growing family! Baby on the way. January 2023. God is Good." Along with the announcement, he shared a sweet photo of himself (still rocking the blond hair), Lauren and Romeo by the pool. Mike's Jersey Shore co-stars couldn't contain their excitement over the news.
