Lydia's relationship with Stiles will be a big part of her storyline in Teen Wolf: The Movie, according to creator Jeff Davis. Davis' Teen Wolf first premiered on MTV in 2011, and the hit supernatural teen drama went on to air for six seasons. The movie, which will premiere on Paramount+, is a continuation of the TV series and is set after the events of the Teen Wolf series finale when an adult Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) must once again protect Beacon Hills from a supernatural threat. Like Posey, many of Teen Wolf's original cast will be reprising their roles, including Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Linden Ashby as Noah Stilinski, Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore, Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar, and Holland Roden as Lydia Martin.
A notable character not returning for the Teen Wolf movie is Dylan O'Brien's Stiles. O'Brien played Stiles throughout the show's entire run and was arguably one of the most beloved characters from the series. Without Stiles, the McCall pack will be missing a crucial member of their team. Still, the former Teen Wolf actor recently confirmed that he was not returning, despite online rumors insisting otherwise. Instead, Davis confirmed that Stiles will be referenced throughout the Teen Wolf movie.
