Apple TV releases the first full-length trailer for their upcoming animated film, Luck. The movie follows the unluckiest girl in the world, Sam Greenfield (Eva Noblezada), as she discovers the magical «Land of Luck,» where good luck flows freely. Hoping to bring home some good luck for her best friend, Sam discovers the only ones allowed in the Land of Luck are creatures, and she must unite with them in order to succeed. However, Sam encounters some problems along the way, as she learns they must maintain the balance between good luck and bad luck on this magical planet.
Now, Apple TV unveils the official Luck movie trailer. Starring the voice talents of Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Colin O’Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, and Adelynn Spoon, Luck is directed by Peggy Holmes from a screenplay by Kiel Murray. Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation are producing the film. Luck will stream on Apple TV+, premiering on August 5. Check out the trailer for Luck below:

The star-studded flick is one of many animated originals coming to Apple TV+, following their partnership with Skydance Animation. Additional projects include the highly anticipated feature Spellbound and the animated series The Search for WondLa. Luck will be Apple's first animated movie, following their NAACP nomination for their animated short, Blush. The partnership comes as Apple is enjoying a successful run with original content as they creep their way up in the streaming wars. With Luck on their side, it seems Apple TV is headed in the right direction.
