The Thor: Love and Thunder trailer may have revealed Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane Foster's (Natalie Portman) team-up in the story of Zeus. After months of waiting, Marvel Studios finally released the first look at the upcoming Taika Waititi-directed MCU film. Thor: Love and Thunder's trailer was mostly focused on the God of Thunder's self-discovery journey after Avengers: Endgame, but it also gave the first live-action look at Jane Foster's Mighty Thor.
Portman was part of the original Thor movie from director Kenneth Branagh. She reprised her role just one more time in Thor: The Dark Worldbut was noticeably absent in Thor: Ragnarok. The actress returned to the MCU via a voice cameo in Avengers: Endgame, although the footage used was an extra clip from the Alan Taylor-directed Dark World. Now, she returns in Thor: Love and Thunder, and this time, she assumes her own superhero persona — Mighty Thor. Specific details about how Jane Foster becomes Mighty Thor are still scant, but there's immense anticipation for her and Thor's expected team-up.
