Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has published a new overview trailer and developer update for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
Publisher Sega announced in June that the Yakuza spin-off will be released on November 9, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
And in today’s video update, RGG Studio director Masayoshi Yokoyama announced that the game will include a demo of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which is coming to the same platforms in 2024.

“We were planning to save more detailed information about the game until just before launch, but we really wanted to respond to your excitement,” he said.
“Therefore, we decided to bring you a more in-depth look at the story and gameplay.
“Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who chose to fake his death and disappear from the public eye to protect his loved ones.
“For fans who have enjoyed the series since Yakuza: Like a Dragon, this title will provide the best insight into the personality of Kazuma Kiryu. How will his story unfold as he fights against his enemies? Please enjoy the battle action and experience it for yourself.
“There is so much more I would like to personally share with you, but we prepared a new trailer to showcase the story and gameplay instead.”
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is expected to be digital-only release in the west.
