Now that LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga has been released and is raking in plenty of positive reviews from critics and players, Xbox is hosting a giveaway that rewards participants with consoles themed on the game. Microsoft's popular home console is no stranger to novelty hardware releases, as the system regularly hosts commemorative designs for both the system itself and its accessories. Third-party tech companies have contributed to this as well, with a recent example of this being Razer's special-edition Captain America Xbox controller.
The Star Wars franchise has long been associated with gaming in more ways than one. Apart from the innumerable Star Wars video games that have released over the years, the space opera franchise has had its iconography and characters splattered across all manner of gaming hardware, from consoles, to controllers, to high-fidelity gaming headsets. These hardware collaborations will typically accompany the release of a Star Wars game, such as when Sony released a Darth Vader-themed PS4 to go along with the launch of Star Wars: Battlefront — something the company would repeat with Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

This tradition continues with a collection of limited-edition Xbox Series S consoles that were announced through the Xbox Twitter account earlier today — just in time for the LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga DLC launch. There are twelve total consoles themed after Skywalker Saga, each one depicting the LEGO renditions of popular characters like Rey, Kylo Ren, and Yoda.
