Tumblestones are one of the new crafting materials introduced inPokémon Legends: Arceus. While this isn't the first time the Pokémon series has toyed with the idea of crafting, it is the first time it's been handled in this way. The Hisui region contains several massive areas full of Pokémon to discover and capture, but outside of Pokémon, there are also a lot materials like Stardust in Arceus' overworld that can be placed in the player's satchel. This bag has limited space for holding materials, but players can leave them within storage at the camp.
Tumblestones are important materials in Arceus since they are half of what's needed in order to craft more Poké Balls. It is possible to purchase Poké Balls through the shop in Jubilife Village, but money is a lot more scarce in this entry when compared to others. Combining a Tumblestone with an Apricorn will create a single Poké Ball. Fortunately, the game allows players to craft in bulk to save time. Collecting as many of Arceus' Tumblestones as possible will make it easier to capture Pokémon down the line.

There are two different ways to obtain Tumblestone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Since it's a crafting item, it will appear out in the open world, which makes it easier to spot. After cleaning out the tutorial mission, Obsidian Fieldlands will open up. There will be orange rocks around the area that players can interact with. Send out a partner Pokémon and it will break the rock, giving the player the Tumblestone crafting material in Arceus.
