Petilil and Hisuian Lilligant can be strong party members if they are the right Nature in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Each Pokémon has a Nature that can increase and decrease certain stats. Nature is predetermined when a Pokémon is caught, but there's a way for players to change it using the farm in Jubilife Village. Having the best Nature for Petilil or Hisuian Lilligant will let players add a strong Grass-type or Grass- and Fighting-type to their team.
Before players can work on getting the right Nature for Petilil or Hisuian Lilligant, they'll need to catch Petilil in one of the subregions of Crimson Mirelands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Petilil can be found in Cottonsedge Prairie and Holm of Trials and is easily caught with any type of Poké Ball. After catching Petilil, a Sun Stone will be needed to evolve it into Hisuian Lilligant.

Sun Stones can be found while exploring or purchased for 1,200 Merit Points from the Trading Outpost in Jubilife Village. Players can obtain Merit Points by finding Lost Satchels around Hisui and claiming the rewards in the Lost and Found menu. To obtain the strongest version of this Pokémon, it's recommended that Petilil is evolved as soon as possible. Once players have a Petilil and evolve it into Hisuian Lilligant, they can make sure it has the best Nature to produce the strongest possible Pokémon for their team.
There are 25 different Natures in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and 20 of them will change a Pokémon's stats. Nature will increase one stat by 10% and decrease another stat by 10% making it very important for players to pay attention to this mechanic in order to create a quality team.
