The starting area of Pokemon Legends: Arceus has no shortage of Electric-type Pokemon to catch. Eventually, players are going to need to catch each and every Pokemon in the Hisui region, but in the beginning, it's better to focus on building a balanced team.
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, trainers can find Pokemon's very own mascot, Pikachu, fairly early on. Players will have to complete a few of the starting Missions before they can cross the bridge to the other side of the Obsidian Fieldlands where Pikachu lives. However, it's a good Electric-type to have at the start of the journey.

Pikachu can be caught in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Crimson Mirelands, and the Cobalt Coastlands. It will appear regardless of weather conditions, and, unlike its pre-evolved form, Pichu, isn't a rare spawn.
The earliest point players can catch Pikachu is atNature's Pantry in the Obsidian Fieldlands. The Pikachu living in the Crimson Mirelands and Cobalt Coastlands will be at a higher level, so players should decide how early they want Pikachu in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Pikachu isn't as timid as Pichu, so if it spots the player character, it might attack. The easiest way to catch Pikachu is to sneak up on it and throw a Heavy Ball when its back is turned. Because Pikachu has gender differences, it might not be a bad idea to catch a male and female Pikachu to complete some of its research tasks for the Pokedex.
Once Pikachu is added to the team, players can return to Jubilife Village and speak to Zisu. Have Pikachu learn Iron Tail to give it coverage against Rock, Ice, and Fairy-type Pokemon.
To evolve Pikachu into Raichu, players will need to use a Thunder Stone on it. Players won't be able to buy evolution
