If everything goes according to plan, then we are just two months away from the launch of the next Apple flagship smartphone - the iPhone 14 series. Apart from that, rumour mills suggest that Apple is going to have a busy fall this year with other launches including Apple Watch series, Airpods, and roll out of iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and other hardware and software. However, as far as millions and millions of fans are concerned, the spotlight is on the iPhone 14 series. The exciting part is that the new iPhone is expected to feature several changes from the current iPhone 13 series. A MacRumors report claims that this will be a faster and more efficient type of memory compared to old standards. Currently, iPhone 13 series starts at 4GB LPDDR4X RAM.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, basically the high-end versions of the forthcoming iPhone series, are expected to feature all the major upgrades. Now, this report claims that 6GB LPDDR5 RAM will bring better and more energy-efficient performance than the previous standards.
