iPhone 14 supply chain on time! No DELAY in launch expected
iPhone 14 launch could be on track despite all the geopolitical tensions and other associated reasons! Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that the supply chain for the iPhone has no impact from all geopolitical issues. Hence, this suggests that the iPhone 14 launch is on track and could very well be unveiled in September 2022. Prior to this, many speculated that the iPhone 14 was expected to face delays due to supply chain issues, owing to the growing tension between China and Taiwan.
“Although some investors have recently worried that the mass production and shipment schedule of the iPhone 14 models may be affected by geopolitics, my latest survey indicates that there are currently no impacts on the supply chain of the iPhone 14 models," Kuo tweeted. Hence, the four models expected this year, which include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max launch could be on par with the expected timeline.
A previous report said that Apple would now manufacture the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 in India alongside the Chinese plants. The reason for bringing the plant to India was to avoid the geopolitical tensions and the numerous local lockdowns.
The iPhone 14 this year is expected to come with the same A15 Bionic chipset from the iPhone 13. Apple is also expected to include more 6GB RAM, some new camera sensors, possibly a bigger battery, and faster 30W charging. Some suggest Apple could offer a 90Hz refresh rate display on the iPhone 14.
The iPhone 14 Max will be the new model in the lineup, having the same basics as the iPhone 14 except for the bigger 6.7-inch OLED display with the notch, and a bigger capacity battery. The iPhone 14 Pro gets the most upgrades, having a new OLED display with a punch-hole camera
