League of Legends 2024 Season Kicks Off with 'Still Here' Cinematic Trailer
After skipping a year last year, Riot Games has resumed its trend of launching new League of Legends seasons with the debut of ‘Still Here’ the LoL 2024 Season cinematic trailer.
‘Still Here’ features fan favorite characters such as Kayle, Morgana, Tryndamere, Ashe, Yasuo, and Aatrox and depicts a number of battles from throughout Runeterra’s history.
Interestingly, the trailer also gives us a look at what may be Yasuo’s future, as we see him clearly aged, but still defending the people of Ionia.
In other Season 14 news, it appears Riot has only buffed a single Champion in the 14.1 update, though there are over 100 changes coming to items, map adjustments, new music and more.
We’ve also seen Riot take a stance against smurfingin the 2024 season, promising improvements to matchmaking to combat the rampant issue.
Later in the year, players can look forward to a number of visual and gameplay updates for Skarner, an unspecified character from Arcane, and Shyvana.
