Fancy playing a sharp new word game that borrows ideas from a bunch of other puzzles and blends them together into something deeply compulsive and engaging? Then you should probably give Knotwords a go.
The game, developed by Zach Gage and Jack Schlesinger, might look a bit like a standard crossword, but dig a bit deeper and you’ll find a sharp logic puzzler that’s got a decent depth to it.
You’re filling in a gridded board with letters, but that board is cut into smaller sections and you’re told the letters that fit in there. You need to pick the right letter for the right square to complete the puzzle.
There’s a lot of thinking to do, and you can solve each puzzle using logic and spelling. You’ll make mistakes, but you can easily switch out letters to correct them.
Knotwords is a game you’re likely to become painfully addicted to, and there’s enough free content to sate most. You can also subscribe for $4.99 a month to get more stuff, or pre-buy everything with a $9.99 IAP.
If you like words and puzzling this one is well worth checking out. You can click here to download Knotwords from the Play Store right this very second.
