Warhorse Studios has debuted new gameplay footage from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Shown off at Opening Night Live, the trailer gives players their first look at some of the game’s central locations. A longer gameplay presentation will be released on Warhorse’s social accounts on Wednesday.
Following a leak earlier this month, the studio confirmed that the game had been delayed to February 11, 2025.
“We aimed for the end of the year, and almost made it, almost is not good enough though,” said Warhorse Studios PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling in a video posted to the game’s social accounts.
VGC recently had the chance to play the game for over three hours, coverage of which will be published on August 21, the first public day of Gamescom.
“Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a thrilling Action RPG, set amid the chaos of a civil war in 15th Century Bohemia,” according to an official description of the title.
“You are Henry of Skalitz – an ordinary man doing extraordinary things – caught in a gripping tale of revenge, betrayal and discovery as he embarks on an epic journey, ‘from a humble blacksmith’s forge to the court of Kings’, as he searches for purpose in this beautiful but brutal medieval world.
“From bustling city streets to lush forests, discover this open-world Medieval Europe through an unforgettable adventure filled with action, thrill and wonder.”
