Comedic filmmaker and noted comic book geek Kevin Smith is diving headfirst into his passion in an epic team-up with Dark Horse. Returning to one of his original loves, Smith will be spearheading a new line of comics called Kevin Smith's Secret Stash Press, named after his own comic book store. Not only is Smith using the line to launch a new, original property, the imprint will also feature a return to his beloved View Askewniverse.
Smith achieved notoriety over his independent and wry films such as Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma. The films were notable for their crass humor, poignant dialogue and overt references to geek culture. Since breaking out in the film scene, Smith has worn several additional hats that add to his nerd cred, such as comic book store owner, podcaster, YouTuber and even showrunner for the recent Masters of the Universe: Revelations series.
