In a recent photo, Kevin Smith poses with giant life-sized Jay and Silent Bob Funko Pop! statues. Jay and Silent Bob first appeared in Smith's directorial debut Clerks, a film about a day in the life of two convenience store clerks Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran) and Randall Graves (Jeff Anderson). Outside of their store stands the crude chatterbox Jay, played by Jason Mewes, and his quiet hetero-life-mate Silent Bob, portrayed by the director himself.
The drug-dealing duo has also appeared in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Clerks II, as well as three films specifically about them, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jay & Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie!, and most recently in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot where they reprise their Bluntman and Chronic comic superhero alter egos. Mewes and Smith have yet to hang up their backwards caps as the two will make another appearance in the upcoming Clerks 3 film.

Smith recently posted a photo of himself posing with giant Jay and Silent Bob Funko Pop! statues. In the image, the director wears a shirt sporting the visages of Dante and Randal of Smith's film Clerks, the film that gave both Jay and Silent Bob their humorous debut. In the tweet's caption, Smith invites fans to come down to his Red Bank, New Jersey comic book store the Secret Stash to see him and the two nearly six-foot-tall statues. Check out the image below.
