Joe Gorga is speaking out against Gia Giudice getting involved in The Real Housewives of New Jersey drama and believes she's «too young.» The latest episode showed Gia confronting Margaret Josephs on behalf of her mother Teresa Giudice. It was a first for longtime fans who have watched Gia grow up on the show. Now that Gia is 21, she feels more comfortable speaking her mind. But Uncle Joe thinks his niece should stay out of the adult drama.
As the daughter of the reigning show OG, Gia has had the last 11 years of her life captured on reality television. From her tearful «waking up in the morning» song to watching Frank Catania Jr. take Gia to prom, viewers have relished in watching Gia grow into adulthood. But now that she's a grown woman, Gia has taken on more of a friend role in her mother's life. As a result, Gia is aware of Teresa's feuds and doesn't mind sharing her opinion. In the latest episode, Gia called out Margaret for refusing to wear tights from Teresa's fitness line for the charity baseball game the cast played.

In the RHONJ: After Show, Joe Gorga shared his take on Gia's mini showdown with Margaret. “I think she’s just too young right now to get involved,” Joe said. “I just want her to go be happy, be a [then-20-year-old] and just go enjoy her life." Thinking back on all that the Giudice girls have been through, Joe wants his niece to focus on more lighthearted and fun things in life and not the messy shade-throwing his mother does for a living.
