Glee became well-known for its jukebox musical style, which saw the cast perform more than 700 covers across the show's run, with many making their way into the charts shortly after the episodes had aired. Years later, Glee has managed to maintain its impressive fanbase, with many recently delighted to see the hit show return to streaming last month on its new home of Disney+ after it was initially removed from Netflix.

In a hilarious tweet, one of Glee's stars, McHale, who played Artie Abrams on the show, has now responded to a fan who appeared to pity him and his fellow cast mates. The original tweet shared a photo of McHale's character, dressed in a costume that depicts a variety of STDs across it. The image was accompanied by a tweet that joked how working on Glee must have been a "fever dream" given the strange scenarios that some of the show's episodes centered around.
