A popular artist edited Obi-Wan Kenobi's Grand Inquisitor to reflect the original Star Wars: Rebels design. The first trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ show has dropped and fans are excited for the next chapter in the saga. Since the mixed reception to the final chapter of the theatrical saga with The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars has found new life on the small screen. The recent short teaser gave fans their first peek at the live-action design of Darth Vader's infamous squad of fierce dark side force users.
Obi-Wan Kenobi picks up 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, with the titular character living in self-appointed exile on Tatooine. He stands guard over a young Luke Skywalker from afar as Uncle Owen (Joel Edgerton) and Aunt Beru (Bonnie Piesse) raise the future Jedi. During this time, Darth Vader and the Emperor have enlisted a platoon of dark side warriors called the Inquisitors to hunt down and kill the remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

Artist BossLogic posted an edited still of the Grand Inquisitor from Obi-Wan Kenobi, which reflects the original Star Wars: Rebels design, to Twitter. The current canon version of the Inquisitors appeared in the first season of the animated Disney show, showcasing a terrifying look complete with dark red tattoos and glowing yellow eyes. The Kenobi trailer gave fans their first glimpse of the Grand Inquisitor in action but with more subdued tattoos and a lack of glowing eyes, resulting in a rounder face with a more human appearance. Popular artist BossLogic aimed to adjust the new design to fit the original far more threatening Rebels look.
