Sony has released July’s first wave of PlayStation Plus games.
This month’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Borderlands 3 (PS4, PS5), NHL 24 (PS4, PS5) and Among Us (PS4, PS5).
Members have until August 6 to add these titles to their game library.
Subscribers will also be able to claim the exclusive Genshin Impact PlayStation Plus Pack starting on July 16. It will include:
Sony recently released a PS5 system software update which introduced the ability to start or join a Discord voice chat directly from the console, rather than having to use PC or mobile apps.
It also made a number of changes to child accounts, which can now link and add third-party services and apps. This process can be managed using new parental controls.
The Pulse Elite wireless headset, Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and PlayStation Link USB adapter were updated to boost connection stability too.
Sony has said it expects PS5 hardware sales to decline during its current year, which runs to March 2025, and that it plans to release no “major existing franchise titles” during this 12-month period.
It used a State of Play presentation in May to announce launch dates for 2024 releases including Concord (August 23), Astro Bot (September 6) and the PC version of God of War Ragnarök (September 19).
