Hello Games is best known for No Man's Sky. But long before the British developer started working on that far-flung star-hopping adventure it put out a little game called Joe Danger.
The company announced today that it has released remastered versions of Joe Danger and Joe Danger Infinity, which are both now available on the Apple App Store. What's more, owners of either of the previous games will receive the update for free. Hello Games founder Sean Murray says it has been working to bring Joe back for the last two years and through eight years of different Unity updates.

Both of the remastered versions come with a new engine and a graphics overhaul that will provide improved visuals, anti-aliasing, enhanced textures, and higher frame rates. The Joe Danger Infinity remaster also includes gamepad and ProMotion support as well as extended Bluetooth support for controllers.
The side-scrolling game tasks players with guiding the fearless motorcycle stuntman Joe Danger through an array of zany high-speed stunt races, jumping over and ducking under different obstacles. Think of the legendary real-life motorcycle stuntman Evel Knievel running through a real-life Wipeout-style obstacle course on a motorcycle. In fact, it was the team sending the 1970s windup Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle toy out windows and down halls that formed the inspiration for the character of Joe.
Since no other publishers at the time were interested in publishing the game, Hello Games went and self-published it.
