In a tweet sent out from the official Insomniac Games account, the developer responded to the news of layoffs, expressing deep sadness and offering support to the employees who have been affected. The message reiterated that, as a subsidiary of the larger company, Insomniac was being impacted by PlayStation laying off approximately 900 people. The statement also emphasized that the studio was committed to supporting those who had lost their jobs.
Insomniac's message also expressed faith and confidence in its former employees and urged any developers that were currently hiring to consider former Insomniac individuals. It closed with an expression of gratitude to those who had contributed to the studio and a promise that they wouldn't be forgotten.
