An Xbox insider has responded to recent rumors that have claimed Ninja Theory is porting to the PlayStation 5. Reports of more Xbox-exclusive titles going multi-platform have become more common since Xbox CEO, Phil Spencer, announced four of the platform's first-party games would also be going to Nintendo and PlayStation devices.

Although Spencer didn't reveal it at the time, it is now known that the four Xbox titles that have gone multi-platform as part of the company's new strategy are,, and. At the time, Spencer debunked rumors surrounding and going multi-platform for now, although there was no mention of .
Spencer stated that the titles Microsoft considered for multiplatform release were over a year old, with a couple of them being community-driven, enabling Microsoft to continue to invest and build upon them, likely referencing and, the latter of which is the most pre-ordered game on PlayStation at the time of writing. None of the titles in question were launch exclusives, so even if the multiplatform strategy does seem to be a success — and it is shaping up to be — Xbox will likely keep some of its big AAA titles such as as timed exclusives at least.
is being marketed as one of Microsoft's biggest console exclusives of 2024, and won't be out on Xbox Series S/X and PC until late May. Therefore, even if Microsoft and Ninja Theory do look to bring the game to PlayStation at some point, it won't be for quite some time.
