In the Indian Army SSC recruitment 2022 drive, online applications have been invited for the recruitment in the Judge Advocate General Branch via Short Service Commission. Unmarried male and female law graduates can submit their online application at joinindianarmy.nic.in on or before February 17. In total, nine vacancies have been announced for this recruitment drive out of which six vacancies are for men and three for women. The selected candidates will have to undergo Pre-Commission training of 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit. Post completing the training, the candidates will be awarded ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies’ by University of Madras. Educational Qualification: Applicants must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination) and eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council of India/State.
Age limit: Candidates must be born between 02 Jul 1995 and 01 Jul 2001, which the upper age limit must not exceed 27 years on 1 July, 2022.
The shortlisted applicants will be called for SSB interview and medical examinations. Successful candidates will undergo pre-commission training and after that they will be appointed for Short Service Commission for an initial period of 10 years at the Pay Matrix of the Officer commissioned of Level 10. They will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 56,100 during the entire duration of training at OTA.
