A pearl of wisdom from Huell Babineaux perfectly sums up how far Kim Wexler has fallen in Better Call Saul. From an outside perspective, the dynamic between Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) is relatively simple — Kim, the hard-working and honest attorney, is led astray by Jimmy, the shameless grifter who lures her into his schemes by promising adrenaline-tinged excitement. Between Better Call Saul seasons 2 and 5, this assessment didn't appear far from the truth, but season 5's finale upended those expectations. She circles back to the Howard scam in Better Call Saul season 6's premiere despite Jimmy's reluctance, she blackmails the Kettlemans when Jimmy wants to bribe them, and she dissuades her husband from coming clean by asking, "Do you want to be a rat?"
